That sounds about right for my kids. I have a teenage son , a preteen daughter, and 2 teenage nephews and those are all brands that at least one of them wears, with Nike (especially sneakers) always being the top brand and first store (we have an outlet where we live) that they wear and shop at.

You know I think athletic footwear is starting to make bolder fashion statements in general and they are no longer staying within the box of just shoes for sports. My personal favorite is Puma brand. I really feel like they push the fashion envelope especially for men's shoes. We have come a long way from the black and white Chucks.

I love puma too. But truly, I've always been a nike girl… when it comes to sneaks… i don't wear them all that much except for working out… I like skimmers, flats and kitten heels, so for shopping, its maybe… but nike rules the sneaker world. I love the puma suede shoe, very chic. they are much more fashionable company when it comes to this. them and stella mccartney for adidas… they have the most gorgeous comfy flat sandal.

I've owned 2 pairs of nike sneakers before. They are very comfortable and stylish so I'm definetly a fan.

I used to purchase Nike sneakers until I found Adidas Megabounce sneakers. They are so comfortable and cushioned.

I have to say though, Steve Madden is extremely "cutting edge" for teens in my area, but we're all nerds, and we're cool like that tho… lols.. Puma and Steve Maddens seem pretty up there. reebok is not really all that hot in my town/village.

Nike shoes are comfortable, and durable. And now, they also get to the trend have new designs for sneakers.
