It’s happend to me many days. I am running late, I’ve finally found an outfit I’m happy with and I’m in the home-stretch trying to put mascara on without poking my eye out and as I look in the mirror I realize my shirt collar. What a mess, one is pointing up and the other is just plain wrinkled. At this point there is no time for an iron, I realize I can use my straightening iron. Luckily mine heats up quickly and I press my collar between the plates and like magic the shirt looks like I just picked it up from the cleaners. I couldn’t have unfolded the ironing board in the time it took me to use the straightening iron.
This works great for any small wrinkles, just be careful not to burn yourself and make sure the fabric can be ironed. I have found it works great with cotton and cotton blends. Needless to say I wasn’t late to work that morning.
