Fashion Wire Daily gives these recommendations for beauty products to conquer the frizz that often comes with humid spring/summer weather: http://fashionwiredaily.com/first_word/beauty/article.weml?id=1879.

It’s been my experience that 90 percent of the hair products on the market make claims the can’t fulfill, and with all the anti-frizz products on the market, it’s hard to know what to trust. Anyone have recommendation for a budget anti-frizz product that works for them?

i have learned from being in hair school that you can mix a lil bit of conditioner in a spray bottle with water and it will help seal the fly aways when you dry your hair. plus you have a kinds of serums out there that you can find at you local walmart, target, kmart, rite aides, and walgreens. i personally like silicon gloss, they help without weighting you down and they control the frizz. i hope this helps

I have naturally curly hair, so I know all about frizz.

I use conditioner religiously, and I use a ton of it at a time. Queen Helene cholesterol and ginseng deep conditioner is wonderful, and it’s cheap and available at drugstores.

When you’re out of the shower and ready to towel dry your hair, just blot it gently with towel. Don’t rub or wrap it around your hair- you’ll get frizz.

I like my curls to have lots of bounce, so I use Garnier Fructis spray gel for curls, but if you want something a little heavier, you can use the regular gel or the cream gel.

Do NOT play with your hair. Constant touching loosens the hair and creates frizz.

I hope that helps.

I like straighten my bangs and leave the rest to the curls. I apply some Garnier Fructis curling wax to damp hair and I’m pretty good. I did not know about the towel drying technique by Machazait. That sounds fantastic!!!

Nope - the serum is just one product with no extra specs: http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/products.asp?pid=52&section=products&subSection=frizzEase&lineID=4

iloveshopping, I have the Sunsilk serum! I love that product, though it doesn’t work amazingly well all the time like other products do.

The sunsilk defrizz creme curls stuff is pretty decent too, I like it.  I second the John Frieda stuff, though I like the creme as opposed to the serum.
