Okay, it’s not something that usually costs a fortune anyway, but I hate spending a couple bucks here and a couple bucks there on stuff that’s waxy, smells questionable, and ultimately doesn’t relieve my sometimes rather chapped lips. Anyone have a brand/product they love for this?

I’m a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and I use a lot of MK things, including the lip care things, which are wonderful for my chapped lips. The Satin Lips lip mask and lip balm are just terrific, as is the lip balm with SPF 15. I can add the MK lip gloss over it and it actually lasts AND stays moist.

Hi again!! ;o)

I posted a reply a few days ago to your vent post on plumping lip glosses and recommended Extreme Pout Lip Balm by Isabella Pelle. Well, I’m gonna have to recommend them again lol.  This balm is not just for plumping - it’s perfect for dry lips. I used to be a chronic chapstick user. It never seemed to quench my dry lips enough though. Softlips was never moisturizing enough and something in it irritated my lips somewhat.

When I tried this balm I was addicted. This stuff is the Cadillac of lip balms. They’ve posted before & afters on their main page - Isabella Pelle Homepage. I can vouch for them - their lip balm is really awesome. The price is not bad when you factor in the plumping.

I love Smith’s Rosebud Salve. It’s $6, but a tin lasts an entire year, and I use it on my lips, cuticles, hands, elbows… you name it.

I seriously just love the regular “Chapstick” brand. They didn’t get that household name for nothing - it works!
