Junior Line called Fabulosity.. clothes in the $30-$110 range

Again, why? Doesn’t she sell Baby Phat at Macys in the same exact price range to the same exact age group? I really feel like some of these folks don’t give a damn (sorry for the swear words) about their fans/shoppers. Teens are pretty savvy and from the few I talked to, they were like I could buy Baby Phat for cheaper than that at Marshalls…

Most of the “Artists” that sell a clothing line or anything else for that matter do not care one bit about their fans or the average shopper.  Look at Michael Jordan for instance.  The price for his line is crazy and the chaos it creates when a new shoe comes out is nothing to be proud of.  If there were ever a concern about fans he should be.  Limited edition and while supplies last has caused people to get into fights and shoot eachother.  All these people care about is money, no matter how they get it.

As far as I’m concerned the only place to buy Baby Phat is at Marshall’s. It’s a look that has come and gone --the gold lettering and all.

touche- Sometimes I see something really cute from the line and then I notice that it either has baby phat printed all over it or hideaous cat logo. It’s like they make it tacky on purpose. The same with house of Dereon. I like street wear fashion a lot, especially the sneakers, but it’s sad that it’s become about lower end logos. It was alway about logo and “flossin’”, but there’s a big difference between Baby Phat and Louis Vuitton
