Hello, my name is Angela, it’s great to be here!  My #1 fashion tip is to dress age appropriate.  It’s great to copy trends and styles we see in magazines, but remember to customize them for your age, and body type.  We’re not all built like supermodels, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dress to look fabulous!

Hi fellow fashion frugalists!  Great to be here.  My #1 Fashion Tip: It’s All About Accessories.  I’ve found even the most potentially cookie-cutter (i.e., Gap-esque) outfit goes from good to great, when you pair the ensemble with a super strong bag, notable footwear, and/or a knockout pair of Jackie-O type shades (courtesy of Target of course!).  And a related suggestion:  as a busy working mom, I’ve found it’s easy to slip down the slope of turning your diaper bag into your everyday tote.  My suggestion:  carry along a small jewel-toned clutch inside...doesn’t add much weight but does add some sizzle to carry along to a quick coffee break!

liztausner: i love your advice about carrying a clutch.  I always carry a tote bag to work and need something smaller (and chicer) to run out for lunch.  I am bringing my small clutch bag tomorrow!!!

I totally agree!  I get flack for “dressing up” from my friends whom are confirmed jeans and t-shirt wearers.  A lot of women seem afraid of being well dressed (whatever style and budget one has) because they think it ages them.  Phooey!  Being well dressed has an energizing effect, you feel confident and that makes you look vibrant.  What could be more age appropriate than that?
