Hi everyone! I’ve only just found this site within the last week, but after coming back a number of times I thought I’d officially join up so I can share in the great conversations happening here! I’m definitely a style-hound on a budget: graduate school means limited resources in basically every sense of the word! I describe my personal style as sophisticated, with lots of eclectic influences and a lot of lightheartedness. I love being able to play around with my look: business one day, boho-chic the next, and urban edgy another. One of my biggest pet peeves is the sad state of the “normal” American daily uniform. Don’t get me wrong, I love my jeans, but I think a tiny bit more effort by a lot of people would really be a great shot in the arm of confidence and aesthetics of our country. Personally, even if I’m having a down, stressful, miserable time, knowing that I’ve got my shirt freshly pressed and am wearing my favorite piece of jewelery or cute hat and look put together, it helps me get through the day!
