Smelling great is part of being beautiful, right? But perfume prices can be truly outrageous—so if you love a nice fragrance, what’s your go-to product for less?

I haven’t always been a fan of perfume, but a dab of perfume oil (The Body Shop used to make a great lilac one) is my favorite way to go, and is often much cheaper than buying a mass-marketed, celeb- or designer-endorsed perfume counter fragrance.

I love the scents by Origins. In the Spring I wear Spring Fever, in the summer I wear Ginger w/ a Twist and in the Fall/Winter I wear Ginger. All of the scents are reasonable priced. They are very clean and fresh smelling and also have bath and body products that go w/ the perfumes.

Bath & Body Works used to have a really great line of bath products with the scent White Cherry Blossom, but they discontinued it. They’re going to introduce a new scent called Blushing Cherry Blossom (something along the lines of that) and it’s going to smell similar to the White Cherry Blossom.

In the summer, scented powder.  And if I’m out of that...baby powder!  As long as you don’t have a baby of your own (so you don’t smell the same!), it’s great...cheap, good when it’s hot, and something about it makes my husband want to nuzzle my neck.
