Don’t know about the anti-aging (is that really possible?), but I’ve discovered Olay Regenerist Daily Cleanser and I love it—makes my skin super soft, smooth, and the product smells great too. I’ve been through a lot of different products to find this one, however—what product works for you?

I have Rosacea so I have to be very careful about scrubbing my face.  While tecnically not a SCRUB but rather and exfolliant I use and like Zia’s Papaya Enzyme Mask.  It is gentle if I don’t use too much.

Anglea, telll us more about why you think the Olay product is superior to others you have tried.

I like the Olay because it’s not too abrasive—it’s actually very gentle, but still does the trick. Also, it’s a fine line between leaving your skin too tight-feeling and greasy, and the Olay product balances nicely—no grease, no residue, but not that tight, too-dry feeling either. I’ve not been a fan of Olay moisturizers, etc., but I always look for sales at Target, etc. on Olay so I can stock up on this item.

I have rosacea too and I have to be careful with scrubs. I use Dove soap and baking soda as a scrub once or twice a week. Crazy, but it works great. The granules are nice and smooth, and small. I got the idea from a book, “Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me,” I can’t remember the author’s name, but she had a lot of interesting tips. Baking soda. So many uses!

I started using this expensive scrub by philosophy and it’s just okay. I am still a fan of the old school st. ives apricot scrubs and just plain old oatmeal and honey scrubs…

Miz haslgen- I am going to try that dove and baking soda scrub.. it sounds amazing

Kathryn, have you tried the baking soda and Dove yet? I love it. While you are at it, you can use the baking soda to brush your teeth, heck, maybe even clean the sink. I draw the line at the bathtub. I break out the heavy duty stuff for that. Happy New Year all! Margaret
