The days of never-ending cups of eggnog and Hanukkah cards from your cousin Geraldine in Amsterdam are over. Translation? The holidays have officially ended, and you’re left with an armful (or two or three) of post-holiday goodies. Yup, hand knit holiday sweaters from Grandma Rose, souvenirs from your sister who studied abroad in Minsk, and Sephora stuff to last you the next couple of years. Face it. It’s time to jump start your spring cleaning, and our friends from ShopSmart magazine have a DIY guide on how to reorganize your closet, pantries, and more. Check out their DIY suggestions below.

I am in love with color oxfords, and painting on a bright sole is the perfect way to reinvent a pair of shoes already in your closet.

December is officially here which means that holiday party season is upon us! For my December I tried out the absolutely amazing Krylon Glitter Blast to bedazzle a pair of pumps. I was blown away by how easy it was to use. I wonder if I could cover a wall in my room with this…too much? Never.

Inspired by Mara Hoffman’s Spring 2012 line, I became obsessed with making a statement tribal necklace knowing it would be the perfect accessory for my upcoming trips to LA and Florida. One thing I love is that you can wear just one or stack a bunch for a bolder look.
Another thing I LOVE is that all the supplies are under $20!
I wore three today with a new shirt I made at a DIY retreat with Honestly WTF this weekend in Palm Spings… more to come on that soon!

Customize yours with different color combinations or by adding nuts, washers and beads.
Supplies: Rope, embroidery floss, small beads, lobster claw, large lock nuts and chain.
Steps after the break!
