Lately, we’ve been hearing a lot of a new line of shoes called “Manimals”. Handmade in a third floor apartment in Jamaica Plains, Mass, the shoes are a crafty (and more expensive at $180 a pair) version of the ever popular Minnetonka moccasin. The shoes are ugly, but that’s never stopped a fashionistas before. Our friends at Barefoot Tess report that these shoes have been flying out of their store.

I rescind to a simple, no thanks! I’m sure someone could wear them well, just not me. The moccasins are better (though still not me).
