English fashion designer Matthew Williamson started his eponymous line in 1997 after working for fashion brands Marni and Monsoon Accessorize. Williamson’s designs immediately gained attention for using bright colors, prints and intricate designs with Indian influences. He gained a great deal of attention when he had Kate Moss, Helena Christiansen and Jade Jagger model his first collection. Aside from his own label, Williamson also collaborated with stores such as Marks and Spencer and Debenhams for their limited designer collections. He also produced a limited edition collection for Target’s Go International Series. Williamson is currently creative designer for Pucci.
