William Rast for Target

What: William Rast for Target is hitting stores on December 19. The result of the partnership between Target and the edgy William Rast brand which was co-founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, this limited-edition collection offers edgy leather jackets, outerwear and premium denim in affordable prices. The men’s collection incorporates rugged style in plaid and military-inspired button downs, graphic tees and nylon biker jackets, while the women’s collection blends tomboy style and feminine tailoring by adding hardware embellishments on chic separates including, western-style blouses, sleek blazers and vests. The entire collection ranges in price from $16.99 to $199.99 and will be available only through Jan. 22, 2011 at most Target stores and on Target.com.

What We Say: Um, studs, zippers, a menswear feel with definite feminine curves and sex appeal? At Target prices? Please and thank you! Justin Timberlake is one of the few celebs who’s made the crossover into fashion the right way — focusing on the brand and the product rather than Justin, Justin, Justin. The pieces we’ve seen are on trend while still maintaining some very classic wearable elements (a fitted black jacket, a neutral nylon bomber, a sexy studded black pencil skirt) making them both current and versatile.     I got the exact jacket at a thrift store unused still with the tag on for 30 bucks!! What a good deal I thought the girl was lying to me…lol
