I was born in a coastal town, and I haven’t been back to the beach for years. I miss it so much. The other reason? Grad school applications. Ugh.

Hi there—I need a day at the beach because I teach high school and this year I took college courses.. our new semester starts August 13 and the summer was very short indeed… Pick me!  I’m your biggest fan!

I need a beach day because I was forced to go on a trip with my boyfriend’s family early in the year for his cousin’s wedding, which used up my vacation days.  Now while my girlfriends are taking days off to go to the beach, I am stuck here in the office with pasty skin.

My family (especially my husband and 5 yr old daughter) needs a day at the beach because we’ve been through a stressful ordeal and the two of them really need some R&R.  Some idiot ran a red light and crashed into my car (with my husband driving and daughter as a passenger) causing an accident about 2 weeks ago.  My car is totaled and my family is injured.  Luckily, they are ok.  They could really use some big fun to get their minds off the accident.

What a great offer!  I do need a day at the beach.  Why?  I am a special education teacher, dealing with very challenging kids.  I love my job, but it does come with stresses.  I am about to begin another school year, and I would love a chance to renew and refresh myself to prepare to do the best job for these kids.

I need a day at the beach because I have been working 40 hours a week this entire summer…in a cubicle with no window in sight. I am about to start my full time school schedule in about a week. Not only do I want this…but I NEED it!

I need a day at the beach so I can test-drive some of my spiffy new sunscreens in some real sunshine rather than the flourescent lights of an office.
I need a day at the beach so I can model my new swimsuit (Patrick Robinson for Target, of course!).
I need a day at the beach so I can be inspired and start writing my long-overdue memoirs.
Mostly, I need a day at the beach because…why not? :)

I need a day at the beach because I work full time at a community college in a very small office. I come in contact with a lot of students, which is great, but can be stressful. I would love a little getaway!

I need a day at the beach to remind myself that I’m worth it.

I have been babysitting anywhere from 4-6 kids all summer….I have 3 of my own and always have extras too.
Our house is also the neighborhood hang out for every kid within a 2 mile radius age 5 and up….Please let me soak up the sun !!

I definitely need a day at the beach!!  I am a stay-at-home mom to two young, active children.  I could absolutely use a day at the beach to relax, unwind, and have small amount of “me” time (something I almost never get).

I found this site (and love it!) because of the BlogHer mention about how to find a jacket when you have big upper arms.  My big upper arms would look so much better tan…

I need a day at the beach because I haven’t really had a break since giving birth 16 months ago.  I movecd twice since then, haven’t found a babysitter yet (and didn’t have one before the moving began), and I work at home so I don’t even get a break going to the office! I was not able to to to my home town and see the beach this summer for the first time in my life, and more than anything I need a relaxing day off from being a mom.

Oh man, I need a day at the beach. I live ten minutes away from one, but between work and blogging, I’ve only been there once all year! If i had an excuse, like i need to listen to a whole bunch of new music and show off my new bag, then I’d totally do it. Please?

I don’t have a disease, I’m not sick or injured, I don’t have children, and I do have a job.  I think all women need 1 day at the beach at the very least, as it’s cathartic to our souls.  Just gazing out at the ocean, feeling it, smelling it—nothing beats that. OK if we don’t all win the wonderful bag et al, let’s all go anyway.

I need a day at the beach because I work every day with NUNS (with a strict dress code). Need I say more?

I need a day at the beach because in 2 weeks I’ve moved twice… first to a new state to start my first job after college, then while on a business trip for that job I got a phone call saying that my employers would like me to move to a new location.  I didn’t have a choice but comply.  So as soon as I had unpacked my first place I had to move to a new place.  I’m still unpacking!  All I need is to get away to the beach, even just for an afternoon!

I need a day at the beach because I am the wife of a deployed soldier.  My husband is in Iraq for the third time, and I spend all day, everyday, waiting for him to contact me so that I can try to sleep for one more night.  A day at the beach would be like a vacation from reality.  I was born and raised on southern California beaches, and the thought of just one day spent in the sand and listening to the waves crashing makes me smile.
