i need a day at the beach to relax especially before college starts agains and studying takes over!

I’m moving from beautiful Vancouver to the middle of nowhere, a land-locked, semi-arid climate.  I need the little hint of civilisation that package hints at.

I am a stay at home mother of 3 and I am counting down the days until summer vacation is over for them!!  I need a weekend away like nobody’s business.

The tropical breezes rolling in off the Atlantic have been non exsistant this summer.  I have been hunkered down in my work bunker typing, crunching numbers, and answering phones.  My skin is pale white and my twins are screaming for a vacation.  Help me enjoy a peaceful and exciting day or days at the sandy and wet beach.

This prize package sounds great, and is filled with items that will help me remember the Summer of 2007.  This will not give me a true day and the beach, however the music will allow me to listen ,shut my eyes and imagine the beach. I will take time to appreicate the small pleasures in life, reading, enjoying great music while carrying a great bag…..Sounds like a vacation to me!

I desperately need a day at the beach to sit and refect upon how much I love my son and to clarify a lot of things going on in my head.  My son left for college this year and I’ve been feeling empty ever since.  I need to finally establish a life outside of being his “Mom”.  So a little peace and tranquilty at the beach is a great and wonderful place to meditate.

my car just died, my cat needs cancer treatment, i’m 8 months pregnant, and i need to work until my water breaks.

I need a day at the beach because I work in a call center for a utility in michigan. All day long I am mentally abused by customers who are dissatified with the bills. I work full time and go to school full time. I just want to be able to go away for a weekend and finally enjoy myself. I love music, if I could throw all my worries away, I would definately run away. This weekend bag full of music would be a great asset to anyone.

Rush, rush, rush has been the motto for the last year.  Trying to obtain one of my goals, but in the midst realized that a second job has placed an additional amount of stress that could have been spared.

Why I need a day at the beach!
For the past 7 years I have worked on my dissertation during the long inviting summer days here in Virginia.  This struggle is teaching my children the value of education and the ability to strive for a goal.
I moved to Fredericksburg, VA 4 years ago and have spent almost every weekend working on this dissertation to get it done, sacrificing my beach weekends.  Since I plan on going to Puerto Rico in October for a wedding, I’m hoping to get at least one beach day in before my defense right before Thanksgiving.  It will be my gift to myself and the beach giveaway will go a long way to making that beach day the best I’ve had in over 7 years.

I LOVE the beach and everything that goes with it - the sand, sun, hot dogs, sunscreen and all the other sights and sounds you cannot find anywhere else.

I live in a landlocked city and absolutely need a day at the beach before summer slips away.

I need to go to the beach because I am extra white, need a tan, plus I drive a Jeep Wrangler and it is rather depressing it hasn’t seen the nearby ocean in a while.

I NEED a day at the beach. I haven’t been to the beach in a couple of years. I moved out on my own, working full time. I recently added a second job to help cover the bills, and had to cut back on going to night classes. AND I think I may have to move back in with my parents… I NEED a day at the beach!!!!

I seriously need a day at the beach!  For years I have worked the equivalent of 2 full time jobs at a Children’s Hospital, saving the little ones.  On my one vacation in the past 18 months I became ill, and before I even went to the pool I was in horrid pain and had to leave Maui early to come home, where I found out that I needed surgery.  Please help me to regain at least 1 day of relaxation in the sun!

I just started my own business 2 years ago and this year it has really taken off!  It is so much fun to see your brainchild become reality, but boy is it a lot work.  I work probably 100+ hour weeks at least doing wedding and event planning.  It is wonderful making brides dreams come true, but boy could I use a day off!  My office is in my home, so I never really get away from it.  In the last 2 years I have worked myself silly to get this business going and it is finally a success.  That’s why I deserve a day at the beach all to myself just to relax and read a magazine, a magazine of my choosing, like W or Vogue, not a wedding or industry magazine.  Thanks for the opportunity and I really really hope I win because, and I never say this, but I DESERVE IT!!!
