Wow, what a great chance to end the summer with a bang…. Great music and even greater SWAG… Working all summer. This would be a great reason to GETAWAY!

Because I’m in Arizona and I’m broke, I can’t travel to the beach in Mexico or California.  So, I need the beach to come to me.

I want a night on the beach again because my best friend and I bonded in our San Diego visit-the-beach road trip in December, but recently we’ve been arguing.  I want the beach and a chance to make things better again.

A day at the beach!  In Oregon, its called the coast, because we don’t have good “beaches” BUT any day at the “coast” is better than being at work!

I’m new to the USA. I came here from the Philippines which has endless beaches and that’s what I miss the most. I’m married now and I tell my husband that we have to go to the beach more often to remind me of home. If I had an awesome Dooney & Burke bag to take to the beach with us I’m sure we would go a more often! Thanks for the stories, have a great end of summer.:)

I look like a ghost!  I need a day at the beach to catch some rays and soak in some vitamin D so I don’t continue to look like death warmed over!

I could use a day at the beach because I can’t even remember when I ever had a day at the beach—and I’m a senior citizen.  It’s about time!

My husband died last year, major difficulties with his family, I lost my long term job 8 months later, and have difficulties that have made it hard to find a new job. My confidence is shot. Help?

I need a day at the beach because I am a student—once again!—finishing up my teaching certificate. I work, take classes, and help coach tennis and Science Olympiad teams. Plus I a day at the beach would definitely help keep my tennis sock line at bay. Thank you for the opportunity!!!

Sure when I was a little we went to the beach but I was the oldest so I spent my time watching the younger ones, so when I say I have never spent a day at the beach, I mean a day that is all about me, all about my new cds, all about my beach book and my brand new carryall bag. I could tell you my various sob stories, the overwhelming stresses, a myriad of trials and tribulations.  Or I could mention the number of knee surgeries I’ve had in the last year.  But then again, everyone’s got a sob story (or twelve) to throw at you, so I’ll simply say:

First time poster but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this blog. I really need a a day at the beach because I am currently working on my Master’s in Human Services (specialization is Executive Leadership in Christian Ministries), I am a Community Outreach Worker, Founder of a Single Mom’s Ministry, small business owner, and I am a single mother to a 5 year old that is going on 50….WHEW need I say more. Helppppp take me away from this!!! LOL I’ve never actually taken a vacation because of limited funds but maybe this would be the incentive I need to just lay out, relax, exhale, and enjoy life.

I need a day at the beach because I lost 30 lbs since january! I’ve really stuck to my new year’s resolution this time, and I’m ready to flaunt my beach body with a great bag, and a nice tan! I’ve only been to the beach once this summer, and it rained the whole weekend. Please give me a reason to go back!!

My wife needs a day at the beach because every day isn’t. We adopted a precious little girl in January 2006. Sweet Meileah was born with a cleft lip and palate. In the last year and a half, my wife has worked as hard as an entire skyscraper construction crew—Meileah’s twice-a-week speech therapy, four surgeries, homeschooling our other three children, and loving me through being laid off and a job search. We haven’t taken a vacation because we haven’t been able to afford one. She needs a break for being amazing.

To celebrate the end of summer… well, yeah. A trip to the beach would be the most movie-type, perfect ending! I haven’t even been to the beach all summer, so I really need it. Actually, I’ve hardly been out of the house. I need a tan.

Plus, I’m a model. Imagine how awesome I’d be in a swimsuit and floppy hat, lounging on the beach w/ my prize package.. a perfect photo op!!

I need a day at the beach to end a very busy summer and celebrate the beginning of the school year!  I have a 9 yr old son and a 3 yr old son and I have been so busy with summer camps driving around town!!!!  We are all craving the structure of the school schedule!!!! 
Not to mention that the whole family is WAY behind on any “in” music and could really use some help in getting up to speed!

Wow!  I really need this!  I can’t remember the last time i was on a vacation!  I have raised both my girls and off on their own, and now i am just working a commission job which means, you either work, or you don’t make any money!  I have not been on vacation for about 10 years.  I need this so bad!!!

I need a day at the beach because I spend up to 14 hours a day in the operating room. It’s less than 50 degrees with no windows.

Why do I need a day at the beach?  It’s because I’m stressed out!  I have a lot going on right now!  I’m three months away from my wedding day so I’m right in the midst of planning, I just moved to a new state, I just closed on my very first house, and I just started a new job.  All of this within the past 2 months.  How is that for needing a day at the beach?  :)

Why do I need a day at the beach?  Well… I got my dream job after several months of no job.  I have a beautiful son and a roof over my head.  I’m healthy.  I’m luckier than 99% of people on this planet.  I need a day at the beach… because being there helps me remember all of that. (Although the truth is, I’d remember it anyway.)

I need a day at the beach because I am way too pale!!  Besides, the sound of the surf, the warmth of the sand, the hilarity of wide bodies in bikinis is sooooooo relaxing!

I need a weekend at the beach, because I have been taking a full load of college classes for nearly 2 years (that’s including summers!) and with two majors (pre-med and english) it doesn’t seem like that’s going to change any time soon :(
