My perfect handbag would have a long shoulder strap so I could wear it across my chest and a decent sized bag attached. Something about 12” long and 6” deep. A nice tan colour. With an external pocket for your cell phone so you aren’t digging around inside the bag for it. And the inside should have a bright colour so that everything doesn’t seem to sink into a dark, endless abyss. Some external short straps that you can use (with the long shoulder strap easily removable).

My perfect every day bag would be leather, big, and probably teal or purple.  I love large, roomy bags that can go from day to night.  One little zippered pocket on the front would be great for the necessities like lip gloss, cell phone, keys, & etc.  Oh, & I love when the zippers have little pendants on them or tassels, something that really sticks out.  At least one or two pockets on the inside just to keep stuff separated since I’m just like all the girls in the world & I just shove things into my purse.  Of course ,it’d have to sturdy enough to go through the everyday battles of school & work with me.  Plus battle the New York City night life with me the girls!  My perfect bag would be as functional as it is fun, & of course - classy.

A new bag every month, it’s a dream come true!

My perfect handbag would be a fun color like yellow.  It would be a tote that is simple with not too much going on, but not boring either maybe just one or two decorative items in white rhinestones or just silver accents.  It would definately have an outside zipper to store my phone so I can find it!

My ideal is a shoulder bag big enough to hold all my stuff with outside pockets for my cell phone and keys and inside pockets to keep everything organized and, of course, stylish. I usually buy black so it goes with everything.  I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a new bag every month!

The perfect bag? I YEARN for a bag that is stylish but functional. An ideal handbag becomes an instant classic that would keep pace with and perhaps transcend the trends. And most importantly, the perfect bag has enough pockets and holders so it doesn’t take 10 minutes to find my keys!

My perfect bag would have to be a diaper bag at the moment. Big enough to tote around extra clothes, diapers and wipes, snacks, etc., but small enough so I don’t end up stooped over like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Ideally, it would have a small purse or clutch tucked inside or attached to it so I could flee my mommydom when necessary, leaving all the trappings behind…

Oh, and it would look hot, too. Maybe a nice soft leather in a crazy hue with a super graphic luxe fabric lining. That would be removable for washing. Uh-huh!

This would be so fun to win!  I tend to use a bag until it dies and then try to find the perfect bag and it never happens.

Perfect bag:  Lots of room.  A place ot put my cell so it doesn’t fall to the bottom.  A place to put my chapsticks (because you can never have to many and who would want to be caught with dry, scaly lips).  An inner zipper compartment to put items you don’t want accidently falling out.  Shoulder strap.  A way to close the bag.  I am always picking up purse contents from the floor of my car.  A stylish shape and color.  Not to many crazy embellishments on the outside.

my perfect bag is something classic that I can have forever; I can use it on weekends and to take to work; it’s not to big but can hold all my stuff; in a color that can be use as a neutral; has hardware, but not too much so it’s still classic; isn’t to plain.

A recent vacation in South Africa sparked my idea of the perfect handbag. Sure, I’d want it to go with everything, but I want it to stand out as well. The color? Red! I would want a style unlikely to go out of fashion anytime soon, so let’s say it’s a Birkin-style. I want it to be roomy, but not oversized. Too small or too big and it’s outdated within a season or two. What would really make my perfect handbag special is the material. It would be made of oh-so-soft (and not at all politically correct) springbok hide and leather dyed a fabulous shade of scarlet red. It’s pretty unique for the US, giving it a little panache. The red color makes it look chic and exotic, while maximizing the unique sheen of the hide. You can dress it up, or wear it with a casual outfit. Either way, it looks stunning. The clincher is that I would find this treasure on sale, with a great exchange rate (I did see similar ones in South Africa), and get free shipping. That would make it the handbag of a lifetime for me!

My perfect handbag would be a neutral color so it would go with most of my clothes.  It would also have to be big enough to fit some things I use on a daily basis: makeup, my phone, my wallet and my camera.  It would also have to have some design- so it would not be plain.

My perfect bag would be structured, like a doctor’s bag, but constructed with soft, supple leather- maybe in a dove grey.

It would be lined with a colorful silk, with multiple pockets inside for my essentials, and room to fit my favorite wallet and a good book.

The closure would be magnetic, and the handles would be sturdy enough for everyday use.

First…I am glad that I found this site.  Most sites with fashion doesn’t even come close to what I can afford. 
Second, I am a handbag freak; if I ever found a store that sold nothing but handbags you would probably have to drag me out after a few hours….that is handbags I can afford not top line fashion.  So, please sign me up for 12 months of handbags…my husband would love the idea that I was getting new handbags without the price tag applied.
Speaking of handbags I just bought one of Ashley Judds from Goodys (got it on sale)...big and I love the shape of it.  One day I would like to design my own handbag…there are certain things I like with my handbags.

Hi everyone! My favorite bag is pretty specific but versatile. I like two handle options: one soft over-the shoulder strap that doesn’t hang past the bottom of the bag when not in use, and the hard double handles that are short enough to hold the bag in my hand or hanging on my arm. The fabric can be a heavy canvas with well-placed piping or soft stubbly leather or—maybe—suede. I like to have zippered pockets on the outside that are big enough to hold my smart phone and another one for pocket change and keys (since my outfits don’t always have pockets). I like the inside to be lined with a complementary color and to have a zipped pocket for security and a few structured pockets (maybe three at the most) for hand cream/makeup/hairbrush/comb/etc. It can have different interior compartments instead of pockets—maybe split in the middle by a structured panel of lining. I’d like a zippered closure with a magnetic snap for when I’m in a rush. Oh, did I mention that I like bags with structure? You might have already figured that one out. But there you go! my ideal bag. Haven’t found it yet!
