Lately, there has been alot of buzz about Victoria’s Secret and it has nothing to do with underwear. The mall-based company, known for its affordable lingerie, has started to really promote its somewhat affordable clothing and shoe lines, as well as the lines of other designers like J.Lo, carried on their site and in their catalog. VS has a selection of moderately priced pants ($50-$70 range), over-priced tops ($49.50 for a silk camisole that I could buy at Target for $12.99), and shoes that look like they’re about two seasons too late.
Vicki’s does excel in the jeans category, with a wide selection of affordable denim with designer cuts, for under $60. Personally, I’m a big fan of the Easy Jean (shown above) with its wide leg look and relax fit. Those wanting a little extra lift and shape will appreciate The Sexy Jean with VS Uplift.
**I’m not sure if I mentioned it before, but Wal-Mart’s Faded Glory line has excellent everyday jeans that hold up well in the wash for around $15.00**
