The Deal: Take up to 70% off at Saks

The Lowdown: Until recently, the words “budget" and “Saks” were like oil and water—diametrically opposed and all that. However, with a designer sale up to 70% off—none of this “10% off purple handbags on Wednesday between 5 and 5:12 am” faux sale stuff—we would give Saks a look.

Let’s be clear about one thing—the merchandise is still not cheap, but if you’re a designer devotee, something like a Bella James Rosette Tank Top, regularly $90 and marked down to $37.73, might be tempting—and for shoe junkies, the prices are still well over budget but $196.45 for a pair of Gianvito Rossie suede pumps (regularly $655) might just bring such an indulgence within reach . . .
