We’ve been obsessed with head wraps for quite some time. They are the best accessory for hiding a bad hair day or adding some color to your outfit when you have to quickly run an errand. Now, however, head wraps aren’t just for a quick trip to the store. They’ve gone couture, baby, and you can be a part of it. If you’re not sure how to incorporate this trend into your daily wardrobe, we can teach you how. Of course, there are many different ways to tie a head wrap, but here is the easiest and most efficient way to do it regardless of hair length or hair type.
Easy Ways to Tie a Headwrap
Step 1: Choose Your Fabric
First things first, what material is best for a head wrap? We prefer a little stretch to help keep your hair locked into place. So, search for a scarf or fabric that’s stretch cotton or jersey for the best result. While you can buy a scarf just about anywhere, we recommend going to the fabric store. Not only is it less expensive but you can buy two or three colorful fabrics for the price of one scarf. Get one to one and a half yards in length and make sure the fabric is about a foot and a half in width. Don’t forget that most retail fabric stores run coupons every week. You can easily get a yard of fabric for around $5.00. Not bad for a gorgeous accessory, right?
