I think this is really cute, but I think it would be better as a polo, otherwise it kind of looks like a night shirt.
This is a fun, effortless look. I would advise that anyone with a c-cup or more, find one with a v-neck. Otherwise, it could look like a maternity nightshirt (as Samantha pointed out). There are some t-shirt dresses with a deep v-neck that look cute with a plain camisole peeking out at the top; draws the eye up and away from those stripes on the belly.
Personnally, I have always thought of this look as the traditional convict attire. Wider stripes probably would look better on most people, as long as the stripes fall onto strategic places, like the waisband.
