Trays are a versatile home decor item. Pretty, modern, funky, kitschy, use them to spruce up the top of an old end table. Use them by the door to collect keys or mail. Or place them on your wall for an easy way to show off their unique patterns and colors. I use mine to hold plants and when company comes, I wash them off (very well of course) and serve up appetizers on them. It cuts down on paper and makes any appetizer look fancy. Trays are very popular and in some antique shops they can run between $30-$100 dollars each. But have no fear, there are plenty of budget-friendly ways to get this look. Try looking on Etsy, which is where I found the Rooster tray for $6.00. Ebay can also be your friend. This lot of four trays is currently $9.99. Also, scour your local second hand store or visit shopgoodwill.com for some great finds.
