Happy New Year!
Now that we are finished with all of the holiday hoopla, it’s time to get back to shopping for fun. I spent most of the holiday working on the updates to the site (major thanks to those who took our November Reader Survey) and watching reruns of the “Surreal Life” on VH1. My goal this year is to take Flava Flav shopping at Target.
I’m also working on a how-to book, teaching folks how to be a Budget Fashionista. Always, if you’ve got any budget shopping tips, feel free to send them along. The learning never stops.
We are working on another project, building an online web of the best smaller apparel, beauty, and home sites. These are the folks who don’t have a ton of money to spend on getting high search engine rankings, but have great products that I love. If you want to be in the directory, send us a short bio/press kit and a sample of your product to the address at the bottom of this page.
Finally, be on the look out for me in a town near you. I will be doing quite a few speeches and presentations (Blogs are hot). Surprisingly, even old corporate white dudes want to be Budget Fashionistas. Go figure. In between luncheons with Bill Gates and coffee with Donald Trump, I would love to meet you all and swap shopping war stories. If you are coming to NYC, you can sign up for one of my tours. It’s four hours of the best shopping in town. It is $80 per person (two person minimum) and includes a TBF t-shirt.
