My favorite piece of jewelry is my diamond engagement ring. It’s been on my finger for 10 years now and reminds me how lucky I am to have found love and how it has given me 4 precious little boys.

It’s a half carat princess cut diamond with a thick band that includes 3 round diamonds on each side.

I think any jewelry with such strong sentimental value is bound to be your favorite. :)

my favorite piece of jewelry is a gold necklace with a leaf on it.  it’s my favorite because one of my best friends and i saw something like it at a fashion expo but it was too expensive to buy.  months later i found a similar (much cheaper one) and bought us each one.  =)

I LOVE jewelry. I will spend hours on the internet, window shopping.  I rarely leave home with out earrings on, at least.
It sounds so cliché but my favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding band set.  We were engaged for almost 8 mos. before I got it.  My husband was working so hard at a new job; he had moved to Houston to be near me and took a $15,000 pay cut.  He could barely make his car note.  So when I got it I was thrilled and amazed at the sacrifices he made.  Six years later, I have had an “addition”, a sapphire and diamond band and that was a surprise too.  A “just because.”  I will wear till the day I die.

I have many beautiful pieces of jewelry (albeit mostly costume) but my very favorite piece is something I wear everyday…No it is not my wedding ring though sentimental..It is my right hand ring I bought myself when I worked at a gift/jewelry store in our small town.
I love it because I can truly say it is me to a tee.
It is sterling silver which I love and it fills up all the space between my hand and my knuckle in a long swirl which is reminiscent of Art Nouveau..And although it makes a statement it is not gaudy.
It is really quite simple in appearance but beautiful and organic. I would feel naked without it….That is why it is my favorite piece.

My current favorite piece of jewelry (yes, it changes) is a Michou sterling/22K/topaz/apatite ring that I found at TJ Maxx for $39.99—It is a thing of beauty & a bargain to boot.  What more could a girl ask for?

My favorite piece of jewelry are earrings. My mom was never much into fashion when I was growing up. Actually, it was my stepsister who got me into jewelry. She told me a woman is never fully dressed until she has her earrings on. I always looked up to her even though we were only 11 days apart in age. And I never forgot that advise. I am still trying to develop my fashion sense, but I always got my earrings on.

My favorite piece of jewelry is this sterling silver ring that I purchased for myself when I was 18. It is very plain, and has a shaved oval shaped pearl in it, that lies flush with the band. It goes with everything, and looks expensive!

Totally cheesy, but I love pearls.  My favorite piece of jewelry is a strand of pink-hued pearls that have been in my family through three generations of women.  I love looking back at pictures and seeing my mom and my grandmother in the same strand, and about the things they did before I got them.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a necklace I strung myself. It has translucent green, purple, and white beads, with little silver dividers every three beads. The clasp is silver too. It sits right at my collarbone, and can be seen with most shirts I wear.
Part of the sentiment attached to this necklace lies in the fact that I made my mother a bracelet with the same beads.

My favorite piece of jewelry was given to me by my grandmother on a whim.  It isn’t fancy.  It isn’t even one of a kind.  But it was hand crafted by some hippie in Vermont who probably needed the dough, so good karma got spread doubly the day she bought it!  It’s a simple pendant on a plain silver chain (quite nicely tarnished with age).  A buffalo/indian head nickel with all but the buffalo carved out so it looks like it’s inside a circle.  I wear it more often than I probably should, with casual stuff obviously, but I get a lot of comments and compliments on it from a variety of people and I always think of my grandmother when I wear it.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a timeless watch. My father gave me the watch one day - there wasn’t much fanfair surrounding the event, it’s wasn’t special birthday and it wasn’t packaged in a special box. It was my grandmother’s watch (my father’s mother), my grandma Julia - that’s my name too- Julia. I never knew her, she passed away 3 years before I was born. The watch is a small, delicate, timex, windup watch. My favorite thing about it is that it doesn’t need batteries, I’ll give it to my daughter one day. It has a small silver face with a gray rope-like band. It’s a tangible connection to my heritage; to a women who’s picture I’ve seen, and who’s name I share but who I’ve never met. Someone comments on it every time I wear it. I’ve searched the internet and this is the most similar: http://pics.rubylane.com/graphics/shops/treasuredoncemore/TOM-00244.1E.jpg

My favourite piece of jewelery is an art deco ring given to me by my mother. Originally, my dad gave her the ring, some 25 years back. Now she thought it was too youngish for her. It is a gold ring with a gold structure jutting out from it, the structure is something between an oval and a rectangle, and right on the top corner is a diamond. Wish I could post a picture, it the most fun ring I have ever seen.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a beautiful silver ring that my grandmother gave me, right off of her finger, recently when I commented on how pretty it was! It is silver with 12 ruby stones on top in the shape of a flower. It has one large ruby in the center with all the other spaced around it. Kind of hard to describe, but a joy to look at!

My favorite piece of Jewelry.  Well, there are actually two pieces.  One I have had since I was a baby (31 years ago).  It is a beautiful gold heart locket that my grandmother gave me.  There is a story behind it.  It has been passed down from generation to generation to the oldest girl.  Now when my grandmother had children she had two boys so she could not pass it on until one of them had a girl.  Fortunately my dad did!  I am the oldest grandaughter so it was passed to me from my grandmother to me when I was a baby.  I was allowed sole possession of it when I turned 16.

The other piece of jewelry is my engagement ring.  After my grandmother (mentioned in the above story) died my parents and sister were cleaning out her house and they found a lot of her jewelry, but they came across a ring that my father was shocked to see.  It was my great-grandmother’s engagement ring—not to mention it was in excellent condition.  They took the ring and put it in their safe and on my 22nd birthday they gave it to me.  Luck would have it that the ring only fit my left ring finger.  So I really never wore it.  Three years after my husband and I started dating, I mentioned to him one night that if he ever wanted to marry me he could buy me some extraordinary platnum ring or he could just use the ring in my jewelry box.  Needless to say he took the cheaper route….but it is what I wanted and he has always taken care of me :)

So there you have it my favorite piece(s) of Jewelry.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a small star cast in platinum with an emerald at the center.  My mother and father gave it to me on my 35th birthday, having had it cast from the same mold as the one my mother has worn since it was given her by my father.  At this point, all the women in our family have been given one - its a precious and lovely link that ties us all together.

Earth tones in jewelry also seems to be ringing my bells right now.

And of course, pearls!
