My favorite piece of jewelry is a white gold diamond circle necklace that my husband gave me for my 30th birthday. It is beautiful and special because the diamonds belonged to my husband’s grandmother.

My favorite piece of jewelery is an old rhinestone necklace bequeathed to me by my mom. She gave it to me when I was a little girl, and I would use it to pretend I was a princess. When I got older, I wanted to use it in my real wardrobe—but she objected because many of the stone had fallen out over the years. Fortunately, my roommate’s mother restores and sells old rhinestone costume jewelery, so she fixed it for me. Now, when I wear it, I’m wearing the product of two mothers’ love.

My favorite piece of jewlery is one I don’t even own. It is funky and fresh, and no one else has one like it. This piece of jewlery is made of a unique material that most wouldn’t consider for jewlery, but it is high quality and its message is large scale. It exists in only my immagination, anything close that I have seen is attached to a price tag that is way out of my range.

My favorite piece of jewelry isn’t my prettiest, priciest, nor is it the trendiest.  But for sentimental reasons, it is my most priceless.

5 years ago, on our first wedding anniversary, my Husband took me to San Diego for the weekend.  At the San Diego zoo, on our anniversary, he gave me a pair of Panda earrings, right in front of the Panda exhibit.  They’re my favorite earrings.  Small, gold hook earrings, with a black and white panda hanging from each ear.

Each year, around our anniversary, we try to go back to San Diego, where I am given a new pair of earrings: Hummingbirds, Lady Bugs, Koalas, Turtles, and this year, Otters.  And each has a place of honor in my jewelry box, with my Pandas in the center of my earrings.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my Michele watch that was given to me by my boyfriend at the time.
It has changeable bands and I feel like I am wearing a new watch every time I change one.  Thank goodness the watch has lasted longer then he.  I honestly cannot see myself without that watch

My favorite piece of jewlery is my green crystal post earrings because they are subtle but wild at the same time, and add a cute touch of color!

I got lucky. Out of some odd 30 great, great-great and great-great-great grandchildren, my granny loved my style enough to give me her jewelery. Nothing like vintage swag. The set I enjoy the most is a kelly-green inlaid, flower like gold set. I always get the question “where’d you get that from,” when I wear it.

My favorite piece of jewelry are some mini hoops. Whether I am in the shower, taking out the trash, cleaning my home, chasing around my cousins or working I do not have to worry about where to put my long necklaces or rings so they will not get lost or dirty. They are from HSN and have an art deco style twist to the three stone drop and have not yet turned green. Maybe it really is platinum over SS! And the fact that I got them with a matching ring for under 50 bucks is the best thing-no one knows!

My favorite piece of jewelry is from my grandmother…I was married on her 50th wedding anniversary and wore her wedding set as “something old”.  It is a simple diamond with a matching band. She always said that my grandpa came back from the navy with enough money for boots and an engagement ring - and he bought the ring first!  About a year before alzheimer’s took her from us, she gave me her wedding set.  The jewelry is my favorite and I wear it daily to remind me of her, her love for me and my grandpa.

My favorite jewelry is my pair of simple, small, diamond studs.  They were the first gift my husband gave me and I called them “baby steps” toward my engagement and wedding ring.  They are a good basic that I wear every day!

My favorite piece of jewelry is my cross. I’ve had it around my neck for over 10 years, occasionally taking it off for something funky. But I put it right back on because it reminds me of where I come from and what really matters in life.

This past year I celebrated my (*gulp*) 60th birthday.  My 2 sons saved up and gave me a Rolex watch.  I had always for years joked about how I wish I had a Rolex (ok, I wasn’t really joking but I never expected to get one).  I was so surprised I nearly fell out of my chair!  Wearing it makes me feel like a Queen and knowing that it came from my sons just makes my heart swell with pride.  My sons told me that the Rolex is just a material representation of their appreciation of all I sacrificed for them as a single mother.  Ok, I’m going to start crying all over again!

I inherited a necklace from my mom. It was a gift for her wedding from her dentist (also a family friend). It’s her wedding bouquet engraved into 18k dental gold (the kind they used to use to cap teeth). It is exquisite and ornate.
