My favorite piece of jewelry is a sterling silver bracelet given to me by my mother. It has large panels with a swirly raised designs on it, beautiful for evening or just with jeans. She used to wear it in the 50’s when she was cool and funky. It is similar in shape to the enamel bracelets on your site, I love their vintage feel. My mom gave it to me this past summer, I am 38 with three kids and was starting to feel old and frumpy. She gave it to me for mothers day because I was always “borrowing” it when I was a teenager and she thought it would cheer me up. I wear it almost day now and it makes me smile every time I put it on.

I love my gold bangles I like to pile them on with almost everything they are very fun. Also inexpensive I purchased them on ebay and real gold because the fake looks bad and tarnishes easily.

My favorite piece of jewelery is the first nice piece that I ever bought for myself. It’s a gold ring with a little garnet stone at the end of it (it sort of T’s out).  I bought it in Prague where garnet is the national stone of Bohemia, and it was worth every penny.

My favorite piece of jewelry that I own is an old Avon ring that belonged to my Grandma.  It’s big and silver and both sides have prongs with balls of silver on the end (one has two, the other has three) that intersect.  She used to say they stood for her five children (four, and a husband :) ).  When she died I grabbed it right away and I wear it everyday on my engangement ring finger (so my grandma can watch over my “ahem” until the time comes), cheap or not it’s amazing.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring, an 18K white gold milgrain setting nestling a princess cut diamond surrounded by smaller princess and round cuts. I love it because not only did my husband purchase it, but he had to jump through many hoops to obtain it…it was mistakenly being held for someone else and took two days of holding our breath before the problem was resolved!

my sister bought a pearly green bead necklace on super clearance from macys a few years ago and i snuck it into my room when she was moving out to go college. its versatile and matches almost anything which is why i love it so much. it can dress up a plain white tshirt so i am able to wear it to work or it works with a simple black dress to make it cocktail appropriate. hopefully she doesn’t see this post…or else i’ll have to give it back!

My favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring.  Because we didn’t have money, we opted out of the diamond ring.  But since both of our birthdays are on the same day and in July, we picked a big ruby since that was both our birthstone.  Ruby also means “passion..” and that is my hubby!

I bought a necklace from a Turkish vendor in a small town in Germany with tons of colorful beads on lots of thin knit black strings- a little chaotic, happy, and the black makes it not too childish.  I love unique pieces that are hand-crafted and tell a story.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my elephant pendant necklace. It’s white with crystals down the trunk and on a gold chain that I bought in France. It’s the most unique looking piece I own and I’ve never seen anything quite like it and it’s very special.

When my grandmother died, her children got together and decided to give me her diamond engagement ring.  It’s beautiful, really the only piece of real jewelry I own, and also my favorite thing.

this is an easy one and pretty suprising to say too.  My favorite piece of jewelry is a pair of large round silver studds from Mexico that has a hand carved design.  I bought it from my local thrift store in Houston for $5 and I love/wear it more than any of my other “fancier” jewelry!

My favorite piece of jewelry is the ring that has passed down through three generations in my family.  It is my grandma’s 25th anniversary band.  She left it to my mother, and she left it to me.  It’s not all that special, two rows of tiny diamonds, set in white gold.  It isn’t the diamonds that make it my favorite.  I love this ring because my grandma wore it everyday for the last 24 years of her life, and I can feel that energy when I put it on my finger.  My mom wore it for the last 4 years of her life, also.  It brings me closer to the important women in my life that are no longer here to support me and lift me up.  I can look down at my hand and see them there.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding ring.  This sounds so typical, I’m sure, but mine is not the typical ring.  It is made of titanium and has a princess diamond in a tension setting.  My husband designed it and had it made by a local artisian.  It is extremely unique and I get compliments on it all the time.  It makes me feel good not only because it is a beautiful piece of artwork that I get to wear on a daily basis, but because my love put his heart and soul into it.  It makes me smile every time I look at it and realize how lucky I am!

My favorite piece is a butter soft white leather cuff bracelet I bought before cuffs were big. It’s sleek yet aged looking, hard but feminine, and very unique.

I love jewelry, but it is usually on the bottom of my purchase priority list.  I always feel that jewelry is too much of a splurge.  I would love to be able to wear the latest fashion accessories.  The jewelry looks gorgeous!

My favorite piece of jewelry is a gift from my soul mate and best friend: a rose gold necklace with a diamond-encrusted gold butterfly attached to a round, bronze pearl from the South Sea.

My favorite piece of jewelry is an heirloom diamond ring that has three diamonds in it.  They are the engagement ring diamonds from my moms ancestors.  My mom passed away when I was very young, and wearing this ring connects me to our heritage in a special way.  I love strong lines and simple design in jewelry.

I love any jewelry that has a unique handmade quality at a budget fashionista price! I am really into the chunky plastic bracelets that are coming back right now. I love layering bracelets and rings.

My favorite peice of jewelry is a 21 jewel Waltham watch that my father gave my mother before they married. It was passed down to me and it still works after 42 years.

My favorite piece of jewelry -currently- is a hematite necklace with a hematite cat pendant. I’m not sure if it brings me luck, but I’d like to think so. :)

My favorite piece of jewelry are a pair of diamond earrings that my parents made for me from their weddings bands.  Although I currently live across country from them, it was their way of letting me keep a part of them with me.

Before I moved to New York this past year from California, my parents gave me a pair of diamond earrings that they made using their wedding bands.  I love it because it’s my way of keeping a part of themselves with me.
