I have a necklace that is made of flat freshwater pearls and gold chains. It is so unique and beautiful! It lies flat against my neckline and looks gorgeous. I love having different jewelry that is looks unusual.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a pair of drop earrings.  You can wear your hair down so that they peek through with a little sparkle, and pull your hair back to showcase the earrings. 

I wear my favorite pair during the day and transition them to night by wearing dark colors so that the earrings stand out even more.

I love the copper collar thats pictured. I went through their site a bit and can’t figure out how they can offer such great prices. The stuff looks really good and the prices are great! I also liked the shells of the gypsy for when I’m in a Stevie Nicks mood!

My favorite piece of jewelry right now is a gold chain and white plastic long necklace from the Express.  It has long gold oval links and white plastic flower-type (think the clover part of LV logo). It looks fresh with dresses, and I even wear it with a suit.  It looks great with my white BCBG sunglasses.  I always get compliments on it.  And I just grabbed it on a buy 2 get 1 free at the checkout line impulse.  Love those impulse buys that actually work out for you!

My favorite piece of jewelry was given to me by my grandfather when I was probably 10 years old.  We were in the diamond district in New York and I saw these necklaces that I thought were so beautiful.  They were green jade circle pendants, almost like a lifesaver, with chinese symbols in the middle.  For no reason other than I liked it, my grandfather bought it for me.  The symbol says Love and it’s on a delicate gold chain.  I still wear it all the time.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a sterling silver charm bracelet.  The reason is because it is personal…each charm represents a special person or place in my life or something I love doing.

My very favorite piece of jewelry is a ring I have never worn. I love opals, and for my 16th birthday, my nani gave me her opal ring. Excuse me, she gave me her OPAL ring. This thing’s a monster and looks like it could hold Voldemort’s soul (I hope you read Harry Potter and get that ...) I have always been super close to Nani, but it’s been hard the past few years. She has Alzheimer’s, and while she hasn’t forgotten any of us, her meds make her mean. But never to me. She has lots of grandkids, but she and I have always had a special relationship. I take the ring out of my jewelry box maybe once a month and put it on. There’s a huge crack in the stone that Nani didn’t know was there when she gave it to me, but I’m OK with that. It seems fitting, somehow. But I’m still waiting for an appropriate wedding or occasion to wear such a fancy piece of bling. (Actually, the ring is really simple; the stone’s so huge, it doesn’t need any real bling.)

I LOVE the lucite necklace (the first one on the first page) as well as the two lucite bracelets.  Lucite’s got to be the only jewelry that really does go with anything - cute with a sundress, works with business casual, or pulls a tshirt-and-jeans outfit together!!

My favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring—emerald cut in a platinum setting.  It (luckily) goes with everything.  It’s classic, and I can funkify with other pieces.

My favorite piece of jewelry is a locket my father gave my mother for her 21st birthday in 1972.  It is slightly oversized and gold with a very 70’s style daisy on the front that is detailed with a small pearl. On the reverse side, there is an engraving of a nickname for her that he still uses today.

Layered with other necklaces and even on its own, it is not only a current look for today, but also so symbolic of an inspiring relationship to me.  I wear it almost daily.

I’D HAVE TO SAY THAT ALL THE FASHION ACCESORIES THAT COME AND GO, NOTHING BEATS MY PAIR OF STERLING SILVER HOOPS.  THERE THE PERFECT THICKNESS AND MEASURE ABOUT 2 1/2 ” IN DIAMETER.  THEY LOOK GREAT WITH MY BLACK COCKTAILS DRESSES FOR OUR FANCY FORMAL OCCASIONS AND MY BALL CAP AND JEANS FOR A CASUAL DAY WITH MY DAUGHTER.  I HAVEN’T FOUND AN OUTFIT YET THAT THEY DON’T WORK WITH!

My favorite piece of jewelry is a gold necklace from a distant aunt. It is heart-shaped, with a Chinese dragon in the middle of the heart. The dragon is smooth gold, the background is in textured gold. A red piece of string is threaded through the heart so I can wear it around my neck.

My favorite piece is an amethist ring that belonged to my grand mother.  She was born Feb 12, my mother feb 22, and myself Feb 2nd, my daughter feb 26th.  Kinda wierd but I love that about us.  (I also have two step daugters born in February)

In the picture I like the amber necklace.  I love natural colors and it would fit in my wardrode perfectly!

My favorite piece of jewelry? A ring I inherited when my gran died in 2000. It’s a silver and turquoise ring that she got in Mexico in the 50s. It’s unique to that era and the Mexican souvenir genre in that it’s a stacked ring with little turquoise chips on each skinny tier. I wear it at least once a week, as I miss her desprately, and as an added bonus, I always get compliments.

the gold and enamel hoops I bought in Italy, at il ponte vecchio! I knew the prices would be hiked up there, even being able to speak italian. So after fighting with a molto bello gold dealer about the price, I pulled the classic Canal Street move on him, and started to walk away:

I counted in my head, “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2….” and before you know it: “SIGNORA! VIENI QUI!” He chased me down the block! Came down a few lire, (this was before the wrath of the Euro left American fashionistas financially handicapped) and after I conceded to have lunch with his family the next day, I practically stole them.

Good price and free melenzane friti for tres chic earrings.. can’t go wrong.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my engagement ring, and not just because it symbolizes my upcoming marriage to the love of my life, but because it’s the perfect union of timeless elegance and trends. I find it very hard to buy jewelry that is trendy and hip, but at the same time will always remain beautiful and in style. My fiance and I picked out my ring almost 7 months ago, were engaged 2 months ago and about a month ago Tiffany’s published it’s “new ring” that is just like mine! I love it so much and can’t wait to wear it for the rest of my life.

My favorite piece of jewelry…. it’s a gold chain-link necklace that my mom gave me four years ago - it was hers, and I have a picture of her with me in her arms and she’s wearing the necklace. I live in Richmond, VA, and my family lives in the Netherlands, and it’s sometimes hard to live that far away from my entire family (especially since my dad passed away in January). This necklace is not only beautiful and goes with just about anything, but it also is a tie to home and to the generation before me.

My favorite peice of jewelry (other than my wedding jewelry) is a pair of diamond and ruby earrings handed down to me from my Great-grandmother. I will cherish them always.

My favorite piece of jewelry is my wedding ring. It belonged to my grandmother, who I’m named after. She and my grandfather got married in 1929 and stayed married until they died. They were both in their 90s when they passed away. The ring is white gold and it has a pattern of forget-me-not flowers along the outside of the ring. On the inside the words “Forget me not” are engraved. My husband and I will celebrate our first wedding anniversary this September. I get a surge of happiness every time I look at the ring on my left finger.
