That’s great! I found the article very interesting as I think we have something in common, (other than the fact that we too have been featured in WWD with GREAT comments, see ‘Going my Way’ 28th July, 2005). The idea for ITAZZ - which is an acronym for ‘Is This Art??’ was born out of observing urban fashion trends in the streets of London. Unlike most corporate labels - ITAZZ - was set up to promote creative ideas of the general public i.e. everyone! ITAZZ Collection is open to everyone and everyone becomes a partner in the collection. We have already attracted individuals from both the US, Europe and Australia, and had great success of selling our collection in high street shops in London. We work according to three basic principles to make ITAZZ accessible to everyone! - 1) There is NO WRONG DESIGN! individuality is the key 2) YOU get the recognition for your ideas 3) YOU become a partner in the collection - The idea is that EVERYONE can join in and share ideas, we even had an email sent to us that turned out to be one of the best selling designs - NO design skills necessary, it’s the ideas that are important! We hope to spread and encourage everyone to open their minds to everyday fashion and at the same time get rewarded, so lets take control of everyday fashion!
