After all the fur and leather I saw during NYC Fall 2005 Fashion week, I wanted to find some fashion alternatives for our vegan/cruelty free sistas. The online store Alternative Outfitters vegan, cruelty-free products that won’t have you looking like you just stepped out of a commune. The clothes and accessories are so stylish and inexpensive, that even fur-coat-wearing (Salvation Army), self-fashion-centered Budget Fashionistas like myself would want to do a little shopping. The vegan Espadrilles remind me of a similar pair by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Just $200 cheaper and I can wear them to a PETA rally.
