If there’s one bag you should buy for the spring/summer, it’s a white tote. The bags fit right in with this season’s black and white trend and you can wear the bag as you would a regular old black bag, with jeans, with a nice black suit, or with cute little sundress. Although I lust for the Bottega Veneta version to the left (if I stop drinking my daily energy Vitamin water I should be able to purchase the bag in about 840 days), my reality is the Isaac Mizrahi white tote bag, $29.99 at Target, that I just purchased earlier this week.
If you’re the type of person who might have difficulties in keeping a white bag clean, I would suggest purchasing a more “disposable” bag that costs less than $20 at a store like Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe.

Yay for white bags! I just purchased a really awesome one from the Fiorucci line for Target. Thirty bucks, faux leather, studded, and roomy. I’m tempted to wear it now in my 15 degree Philadelphia weather.

The bag of my dreams is the Ferragamo wicker shoulder bag. It’s not completely white, it natural wicker, with magnolia (tan) accents. Beautiful and it fits right.
