Treehugger.com mentioned this neat innovation, and we pounced. Sunrise Solar recently introduced the creation of a solar sunroof for cars. The sunroof will create energy to charge the car’s battery, plus help keep the car cool when parked in warm weather and keep it warm in cold weather. Instead of having sun-soaked leather seats when you come back, you’ll have a juiced-up car battery. We’re excited that corporations are realizing the need for energy-saving technology and using their advanced science skills to help the environment. Meanwhile, we’ll be using our pure resourcefulness and creativity to support them in our own small, but no less important ways.
