I’m 37. I have four kids, and I love clothes–including, I admit, sweats and a fuzzy Uggs–and I want it all. I want to save money, look cute, pretty, chic but not ridiculous, and I want my clothes to be available online or close to where I live. In that stubborn mindset, I’ve set out shopping over the years and eventually compiled a list of trusted stores where I can get all my requirements met and leave with that “just shopped” glow.
Styles is ten minutes from my suburban home, always has cheerful employees who say how cute my toddler is, and boasts ridiculously low prices on everything. The store also offers a Styles For Less saver card that takes 10 percent your purchase. The best thing about Styles is that they have basics with details: a white shirt with a zipper down the front, jeans with heart-shaped pockets, a jacket inlaid with plaid. There is always an abundance of color and pattern to choose from, and did I mention how LOW the prices are? I love this place. The dress below is $24.99 and–with 10 percent off–a steal. Pair it with a long, bright coat and heels (picture Carrie Bradshaw) and you have a cute ensemble for a fall dinner or party, with a ruffle at the waist to hide your food baby!
