Site I Like: Annualcreditreport.com

According to federal law, every US citizen has the right to receive a free credit report from each of the three main reporting agencies Equifax, Transunion, and Experian once every 12 months. AnnualCreditReport.com is the official site to request free copies of your credit report. Unfortunately, it doesn’t include the FICO score, which you can purchase for an additional $6 oer reporting agency.

If you get a wamu credit card they give you your fico scores and they email you when it drops 20 pts or increases. They even tell you how many accounts you have open

As stated in the post, annual credit report doesn’t give you your credit score, just your credit report.. Also, you have to make sure you “opt- out” of receiving additional emails from the creditors. I imagine that this is the only way the government could negotiate with them to give credit reports for free
