Save Up to 70% at Yoox.com’s Fall Winter Sale

The Deal: Yoox.com’s Fall Winter Sale now up to extra 70% off

The Lowdown: Okay, we admit it—even we weren’t sure where to start with Yoox.com’s Fall Winter Sale items (unlike most end-of-season sales, the selection is, while not always fabulous, a bit overwhelming). In terms of basics here, like shoes, handbags, accessories, underwear—you won’t find anything earthshattering (or even terribly cheap). So we decided to focus on what you go to a site like Yoox for to begin with—designer stuff.

Love Marc Jacobs? A quick search turned up this spring-ready Marc Jacobs fuchsia dress”>Marc by Marc Jacobs fuchsia dress, on sale for $184. Or is Stella McCartney more your style? How about these kinda funky satin lace-up heels on sale for $304? Practical? Non. But Yoox.com (or designer for that matter) isn’t really about practicality, is it? At least it’s all on sale.

I’m greatly disappointed at the way this website is conducting business. It’s a scam. I had purchased a dress from the website which claims to sell merchandise at a discounted price. However it was priced even higher than the retail price. So when I called to inquire they tried to give me senseless excuses when I said I can prove that this is not at all discounted from the retail price and was in fact higher than the retail price. After couple of days I go to check the price and now the dress has been repriced to reflect what seems to be the correct price. However they would not refund me the difference in the price. This is such an underhanded approach. Please note it hasn’t even been 15 days since I placed my order. The dress in question was sold to me $1040 and is now $490 NY Times should not be endorsing any business that is not legit.
