What: For all you trendy tweens and young hipsters out there, Rocket Dog unveils their 2010 fall/winter shoe collection. It’s one of their largest fashion forward women’s collections ever. We’re talking camouflage print pumps with the grips to match.
What They Say: With five style categories that take inspiration ranging from arctic lights to on the ranch looks, the brand is staying on course with trendy styles at affordable prices. Everything is below $100. Cozy cable knit booties, high heeled rugged pumps, and canvas ankle booties, Rocket Dog has you covered for all your cold weather needs. Whether you like your footwear edgy or dainty they are offering something for every kind of style.
What We Say: The collection was a little bit too trendy and imitated a number of styles that have been excessively copied. How many versions of the ugg boot do we need and didn’t Manolo Blahnik later imitated by Steve Madden cover the high heeled timberland boot trend? We did like that they got in on the clog trend and offered them in colorful suede’s. We also liked the assortment of round toe flats that had tons of cute bows and pom pom details. Although the collection didn’t suit our taste (maybe the flats), we bet all the young and trendy hipsters will be heading to the mall for this immensely trendy collection.
*Note: I received a complimentary pair of shoes from the summer collection.
