Palmers Lip Butter

I’m in love with Palmer’s Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter. Not only does it protect my chapped lips, but it tastes soooo good. It’s almost like someone smashed up a bunch of York Peppermint patties and stuck it in a tube.

My favorite product for dry lips is Murad’s Soothing Skin and Lip Therapy. It not only moisturizes your lips but it heals and prevents them from cracks. Even when I don’t use it my lips still feel smooth. Its $12 bucks but I have had mine for about 5 months. It is worth it.

We were really pleased to see your lip care product recommendations.  We hate to see women always overpaying for cosmetics when there is no real scientific difference in performance. (And we should know, we’re cosmetic scientist who answer questions on beauty products in our blog!)

Thanks and keep up the great work!!

Unrefined virgin coconut oil works great on the skin. It solidifies at 76 degrees so it can be used easily from the jar. Supposedly it has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties so it’s great for different problem areas. I’ve used it on my lips during chap lip season for years. Never had a problem.
