What: While there’s been no official word on the topic yet, model Jessica Stam recently tweeted that she’s doing a capsule collection with Rachel Roy for Macy’s.

Now that Stam’s also sketching, could she turn full-fledged designer? We think having Rachel Roy at her side is a definite plus, and Roy’s wearable feminine designs, tempered by Stam’s casual style, could be just the perfect match.

What We Say: When it comes to pseudo-designers, we’ll take a Runway pro over a movie star any day. However, we’re not so much enthused about Jessica Stam’s hand in this as we are to hear that we can expect more Rachel Roy designs at Macy’s.
