The Lowdown: The satchel is another one of those handbag styles that isn’t particularly, shall we say, well-defined. For what it’s worth however, we’d suggest it’s somewhere in between a hobo and a tote, with the occasional touch of duffel bag and/or shoulder bag thrown in for good measure. Got it? Us either.
