A few months ago I wrote about how Proenza Schouler was in talks with Target to develop a line for the mega store’s Go International initiative. Well.. it’s official.. Proenza Schouler are the next designers to join Target for their winter/early spring line… Based on these pics from Jane Mag’s blog “Dress and Primp”.. this line is going to be FABULOUS.
Here’s some more from Proenza Schouler at Target….

How is this stuff fabulous? It looks like the same stuff Target already sells. All they do is mark-up the price some.
I’ve never seen a coat like that at Target… and I’m there on like a daily basis… The one pants and polo outfit has been done before,I give you that.. But I’ve never seen a swing coat like that…
Eww, those models look anorexic. Not making the clothes appealing at all.
I think the bottom two outfits are terrible-they even manage to make the models looks fat! I hope the actual line has some better, more practical items. And I have to agree with DivineMsn, the blue tank top looks remarkably like one from the tara jarmon collection.
I bought a coat exactly like that at the salvation army. No joke. Vintage, and pure wool, too. Check em out.
The coat seems gorgeous, but I don’t see how that would look good on some of us who have plenty of junk in the trunk
I love that coat! Thanks for the tip!
I don’t care for any of these styles either. However, I do love many of the clothes they carry. I think it’s probably better to stick with the classics when shopping at Target.
im spazzing:)
MMK….Those of you hating on these outfits need to realize that Proenza is so far the greatest line they will have at Target. I’ve followed the designers since they started about 3 years ago, and to have these cheap of prices compared to their runway collections is absolutely a blessing! I might just camp out the night before they come into stores
yes, yes, and yes. when is this line due to hit the racks?
How did you get these pics? They are great, but I would love to see more.
the clothes look good on the models but would they look good on people who actually ate?
