The Lowdown: Dry itchy skin is the unfortunate side effect of dry winter air—meaning that those of us who live to moisturize (well, almost) need to amp up the products in our rotation. Enter Aveeno’s Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion “with Cooling Menthol.” Truly, the idea of “cooling menthol” doesn’t appeal too much when it’s 30 degrees outside, but I guess that’s not what they mean. Anyway, here’s the deal—no fragrance (except a vague mentholly aroma) means no fun for the scent-addicted, but this is more about actual skin care than primping. And it does care for the skin, going on almost like a rich salve, but absorbing immediately with absolutely no greasiness. What it does leave behind is super-soft and non-dry skin that lasts all day. Love that.
