I LOVE big beads!  I think they are timeless by how you wear them.  Make sure your outfit is more classic and tailored so part of the trendy element is taken away.

I think that the more important question is the person and the outfit. I think large beads and large jewelry in general is better on taller women. Also, it depends on your outfit as well. In general, larger beads go better with more casual outfits.
