The following is a guest post from our friends at Lucky.

Organizing your beauty products isn’t the easiest thing in the world. In fact, it’s really hard. So we consulted an expert for some advice.

LA Closet Design is headed up by organizational genius Lisa Adams (she’s more of a genius/wizard hybrid, if you ask me). Adams has made the rounds with many celeb clients, including Eddie Murphy, Carmen Electra, Kris Jenner, Kendall & Kylie Jenner, Kyle Richards, Whitney Port, Jillian Michaels, Kara DioGuardi and Jewel. In case you don’t get your fill of Lisa on our site, watch her in a new show called Million Dollar Closets that airs on HGTV starting June 12.

Here are Lisa’s pro tips around all of that bathroom clutter. Trust me—you’d have never thought of any of these on your own. Get ready to be wowed and organized.

Drawer Dividers

"Divide and conquer your makeup! Drawers in the bathroom tend to be messy, unorganized catch-alls for many different containers and inserts. Use custom or expandable cosmetic drawer inserts that fit into the drawer to take the place of bulky cosmetic bags. Different-sized compartments will organize lipstick, blush and eyeshadow. As you organize your makeup, be sure to throw away anything that smells or is expired. Old makeup contains bacteria that can irritate your skin."
