What: Target is partnering with accessories designers Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison to launch a limited-edition footwear collection, Sigerson Morrison for Target®.
The Lowdown: The designer partnerships just keep coming, and this time around it’s in one of our favorite categories—footwear—with Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison. The Sigerson Morrison for Target collection aims for “modern and chic” and will feature festive holiday-ready details, including studs and jewelry embellishment. The price range? Between $29.99 and $39.99 (compared to their typical high-end fare at $350-$595). The line will be available only from Oct. 12 to Dec. 26, 2008.
What We Say: This line, which includes the suede black and silver booties above, is clearly made with holiday festivities in mind—pumps and boots with pink, gold, blue, and silver studs and detailing, and bright colored gem-emblazoned flats, to give a little bling boost to your basic little black dress. Which we like. They’re not timeless designs that you’ll wear season after season, but that’s kind of the point—for less than $40 a pair, getting a season’s worth of frivolous fun out of them is enough.
