New York Fashion Week: Fall 2007- Tracy Reese

| February 6, 2007 09:57 AM | Posted in

I love Tracey Reese for several reasons- she makes clothes that you actually want to wear, she’s from Detroit, you can now find her stuff at Daffy’s (the East Coast discount mecca) and her show is the complete opposite of Baby Phat (meaning you will actually be able to purchase the clothing in stores and it’s style without the overt bling).

For the most part the show was a mixture of dramatic lady-like pieces (like the fabulous brown coat and red sheath with black beading down the front) and those damn trapeze dresses, (TBF Note: If you got a big chest- leave this style on the rack). Tracy did score points with me for a significant amount of black paired up with fall’s IT color, Chili Pepper red.  (TBF Note: there’s a lot of red in stores right now on sale, so scoop them up now. ). I’m also a fan of the fuller sleeve which is great for those of us who don’t have toned arms.
