Now that NYFW has come to a close, our closet-minded brains have gotten serious about what to covet next from the runways. Will it be a liquid metallic gown, fox-hemmed cocktail dress, or everything from JCrew? Unfortunately, these particular pieces won’t be available for another six months, but that doesn’t mean a fashionista should have to wait!
What Went Down During the Mercedez Benz New York Fashion Week 2013
After a week of heavily scoping the scene at Lincoln Center (and all the other fashion-y locales) of NYFW, we’ve tallied up the latest trends coming our way. Let’s get a jump on A/W 13 by shopping the soon-to-be must-haves (mostly on sale!) available now. Here’s where to begin.
FUR
Whether you love it, or can’t bear the idea of wearing it — the decadence of fur will continue to luxuriate our fall wardrobes. Clearly, the designers can’t get enough — it was almost overkill on the catwalks! From the mink hems at Carolina Herrera to the fur-trimmed aviator jackets at Rebecca Minkoff (oh and let’s not forget the were-they-real-or-not fur stoles at Marc Jacobs!), we can safely say — fur isn’t going very far for fall.
