What: Celebrity fragrances – from Usher, Queen Latifah, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Britney Spears, to name a few – are all over the place right now. But don’t tell that to Reese Witherspoon, who’s just launched a new perfume called “In Bloom” with Avon. Doesn’t seem to matter how oversaturated the market gets, because every day, there’s a new headline-making celeb scent being pushed on us. “In Bloom” has “feminine floral notes” (not too surprising), and supposedly reminds Reese of her childhood in the South. Priced at $32, the fragrance collection will probably get snatched up pretty quickly.

In Bloom by Reese Witherspoon is a true collaboration between Avon and the star, who was intimately involved with all the aspects of the fragrance’s development. To introduce In Bloom to both consumers and Avon Representatives, Avon and Witherspoon took over Times Square today in a multi-tiered event.
What We Say: Hey celebrities, why not collaborate on something else for once? We’re really not bashing Reese – it’s just that we’d take a line of children clothes inspired by her adorable little ones Ava and Deacon over a scent.

Well, at least she is doing this on behalf of Avon’s Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. I believe that is why she became associated with Avon in the first place.
