There are 2 products that I seriously cannot do without: Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque and Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner. The first one has been my nightly staple since junior high and pretty much the only mask I’ve tried that actually works. It smells nice, is easy to use and since my skin is moody, I just leave it on my trouble spots overnight to wake up to soft clear skin the next morning. I even got some of the guys in my dorm in college to use it! As an arden eyeliner fan (I feel naked without it), Revlon’s Colorstay is the only one that actually stays put. I used to live in dry, sunny Southern California where the heat used to sweat my eyeliner right off. Now I live in humid New England where the moisture in the air is also not compatible with eyeliner. So far, Colorstay has lasted through both climates. Just one clean line across both eyes in the morning and I’m good to go for the rest of the day. The best part is even if I wear eyeshadow or cream, it doesn’t make the eyeliner smudge (unlike other eyeliners that claim to be waterproof). It comes off easily with baby oil too (my personal makeup remover of choice). From Suma

Foundation: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse
Concealer: since Almay discontinued their Amazing Lasting Concealer, I now use Revlon Colorstay concealer as eye shadow base. Makes ANY shadow crease free all day, even in Philadelphia’s summer heat and humidity!
Blush/bronzer: Physician’s Formula and Jane.
Eye shadow: Jane has a lot of shades the same as MAC! I also love Vincent Longo’s trios, The Body Shop, Bourjois, and Too Faced’s compacts of shadow, blush & lip color.
Eyebrow gel: Revlon has a neat little pencil with matching gel on the other end. The pencil remains intact but the gel is perfect!
Lipstick: Too numerous to list! Mine run from Wet & Wild to Chanel.
Powder, loose: Clinique. Pressed: Avon mark Matte-nificent.
Blotting papers: The generic blue ones from CVS work just as well as, if not better than, the expensive ones.
Mascara, waterproof: L’Oreal Splash Out. Non-waterproof: BeneFit Bad Gal Lash or Avon’s Daring Curves.
Hair products: In summertime, I use a mixture of Rusk Wired, Citre Shine antifrizz (just a couple of drops) and Rusk Curl Silk. My curls do not frizz. From Anne

Yeah, I was going to warn that if you contact an Arbonne rep, they ain’t gonna be selling just moisturizer. Frankly, being given the hard sell about joining a pyramid scheme would give me way more wrinkles than their dubious product would be able to get rid of.
If you are like me, when I wear a fragrance I look forward to hearing the compliments. When someone stops to ask what I am wearing I know that I have a winner. I have 2 fragrances that I wear that turn heads or should I say noses all over the country. The first one is “Patchouli Blend” and please don’t let the name throw you off because I know that most people associate Patchouli with a strong earthly scent. But let me tell you this fragrance is so beautiful that it cannot be described with words, yet it grabs your sense of smell with curiosity. I have shared it with others and they tell me that they have never gotten so many compliments on a fragrance before. I’m talking from people who have purchase $300 dollar bottles of perfume. I forgot to mention that you only apply it once in the morning and it stays on all day, I am not kidding. I contains no alcohol and it is excellent for those who have trouble with their scents lasting. The second fragrance is “Amber White” and this is a crisp light musk excellent for those who are sensitive to fragrances. I have friends who are in the medical field and they love it. They say it is pleasing to their patients. If anyone would like to try either of these scents just go to www.desirables.net and you can get more information on their products. Everywhere I go someone stops me and want to know what are you wearing? Oh, I forgot to mention that boths scents are unisex.(can be worn by men & women)It’s HOT! Really interesting info on your own beauty regime - I just have a few Body Shop products that I use mostly, together with Almay non-allergenic which works for me.

If someone wants “just moisturizer” from me, they can have it, and with incredible customer service and discounts. Much better than what you can find at department stores. Arbonne IS NOT a “pyriamid sceme”.....those are extremely illegal. Arbonne, as a home based business, works…...if you work. Getting rich (or even just making a sizable income) from home is a reality for those that have a strong work ethic. The company is amazingly supportive to those that want success AND the products have integrity, because they truly deliver the RESULTS they promise. i really think this website is awsome and so are the deatils about products and the advises.they come really handy when u r actually on a budget and can have the perks of being a fashionista and beauty buff.i have been using dove soap its great for any kind of skin,and Nivea shimmering body lotion for a year now a great product to get the glow for cheap.My hair care consists of oiling with coconut hair oil and shampooing with Clairol herbal essence shampoo and conditioner.They both are great for girls like me who wants both buck saving and fine hair.

I absolutely love your site and have gotten lots of good tips here! I live in the super-hot and humid Deep South, and my skin is (even in middle age-yikes!) oily. Maybelline’s Dream Matte Mousse line is wonderful in this climate! I use the foundation, blush, and eye shadow, and they never wilt, melt, slide off, or need a touch-up through a 12-hour day. The colors are wonderful, too—this is one of the few lines that has a foundation that matches my skin perfectly, with no need to mix several shades. The rose eyeshadow is the best—just enough shine but not too much glitter or shimmer. I never thought I could wear cream eye shadow or blush, but this line has proven me totally wrong.
