What: Grab your Vespa. The “Twiggy� look is being reinvented, again.

The Word: Ellegirl.com has predicted that this fall, everyone is going to be mad for mod: “Cultural outrage over makeup may a thing of the past, but the dramatic eyeliner personified by Twiggy in England and Edie Sedgwick in the U.S. is back in black this season.�

Our Word: It’s a bit ironic that “mod� makeup (which is taken from the word “modern�) is making a comeback, considering it is a throwback to the sixties. Regardless, heavy black lashes and pale, barely-there lips can make a fast and easy impact like no other makeup style. There are plenty of falsies (lashes, that is) out there to accentuate your peepers like Ardell Fashion Lashes, $5.09, should you choose to go that route. Otherwise, use an eyelash curler and swipe two layers of black mascara along the top and bottom lashes. Keep face makeup clean and simple and forgo blush. For your pale pout, apply a lip balm mixed with a hint of foundation. Then, swipe on a light, shimmery pink gloss, zip up your go-go boots and start walking.
