The pictures from the Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza wedding are out, and there’s no doubt that the dark-haired duo dress up well. Both of Mazza’s dresses (wedding and after-party) were Ines Di Santo. Since I thought Courtney looked stunning, I went to the Di Santo website for more – and while I could someday see myself in any of the gowns, I know my budget will likely never agree. Here are three affordable alternatives that remind me of the lovelies at Di Santo.
1. Think Mass Retailer. JCrew Wedding: Likely fractions of what a Di Santo gown costs, all the options are absolutely affordable and almost cheap by wedding standards. What I like is that you could get one of these and have it altered or embellished for a beautifying and customized touch. Express yourself!
2. Consider Consignment: With couture dresses 40%-80% off, if you get lucky you can have your version of Courtney Mazza’s look for much, much less.
3. Navigate the BlowOut Sale: This is where you find your dress, and then wait for it to go on sale. A similar plan would be to find your dress, then search for it on EBay. This option is especially viable if you are sample size.
