What kind of price range would someone expect from a Kate Spade sample sale?
is there a long line that forms to get in? when’s the best time to go?
I would also really appriciate any info on the next Sample sale for KS. Thanks so much!
Please inform me of sales
I went to the last one in July, and it was “ok”. I was kinda disappointed meaning that the there were not many items at 50% or more off. Most items were between 30-45% off. the one good thing is that there is TONS of stock. It is a pretty big place and they had just about everything you could think of.
It is not a “blow out” price slashing sale. If you are a big Spade fan then it’s awesome. If you are not (like me) then it’s not so hot. I did not buy anything for myself, as I did not think the prices were great, but I did spend $650.00 on gifts (couple of purses, agendas and wallets). My friend who is a Spade fan spent about the same.
They had everything from pajamas to gift sets to agendas. Not very much of the home collection. Item styles were all priced differently. Most purses were not more than 50% off unless it was a way old style. The “hot/popular” styles were not deeply discounted.
Example
large nylon purse reg. $295. sale for small $50.00 – $90.00, medium for $90.00 – $125.00, large for $130 – $170.00
leather /suede purse reg. $295. sale small for $150.00 med. / large $180-225.00
wallets reg. $125.00 sale for $80.00
wallets reg. $95.00 sale for $40.00, tiny ones $30.00
pda case reg. $95.00 sale for $50.00
raincoat reg. $395.00 sale $$160.00
pvc pencil / make up cases etc. $30.00 (cheapest item there along with pencils and agenda refills).
